Germination Temperature:Optimum soil temperatures 70-80ºF

Seed Planting Depth: Sow on the surface and press into soil, seeds need light to germinate. Scarifying or soaking seeds overnight may aid germination.  

Starting Indoors: Start indoors using a growing medium of  ½ seedling mix and ½ sand. Provide70-80ºF soil temperature. Transplant individual seedlings into pots when they are large enough to gently remove from the germination container

Sowing Outdoors: Direct sowing is not recommended

Light Needs: Full sun

Soil Needs:Average, well-drained 

Care: Keep soil moist during germination
