Gladiolus 'Manhattan'

Gladiolus Bulbs are shipped in March and April. At the time of your order, you may request a shipping date. We will make every effort to comply to the extent we are able. We request that all Spring orders are placed prior to March 15th. After that, the stock is limited. Orders received by March 15 are shipped as a first wave, with southern states first moving north as we are able. Orders received after March 15 will be delayed until the first batch of orders is shipped. Items in this section are not available after May. Please order early.

PLANTING

It is best to plant gladiolus when the soil warms to 60 degrees (soil too cool can cause the bulb to rot). They may be planted in well-drained soil, 3-5” deep allowing 4-6” between each corm. Rows should be 12-36” apart. Try not to plant up against a structure so that they get plenty of airflow. Hill the soil 6” up around the stalk to prevent glad from tipping over in any wind.
