Mammoth Mix Sweet Pea

Vigorous vines will climb a trellis or pea fence up to 5' by the end of the season. Plants are covered with mildly fragrant blooms in a wide range of pinks, roses, reds, violets, purples, and white. Stems are 6"-9" on most flowers, quite suitable for cutting. Sweet peas are not edible, all parts are poisonous.

Germination Temperature:Optimum soil temperatures 55-65ºF, soaking seeds overnight aid the germination

Seed Planting Depth: Sow ½” deep

Starting Indoors: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting outdoors in early to mid-spring. Provide 65-75ºF soil temperatures until germination. Transplant 4-6” apart.

Care:  Grows best in cool mild climates, mulching helps keep roots cool and moist. Pinch to encourage branching, harvest often to encourage more flowers. Amend the soil with compost before transplanting.Apply a liquid fertilizer every 3-4 weeks
