Multibloom Red Geranium

True bright red. In our trials, this hybrid was one of the earliest blooming geraniums grown from seed with a great number of flowers per plant. They still looked good after a light frost.

Germination:7-21 days

Germination Temperature:Optimum soil temperatures 70-75ºF

Seed Planting Depth: Sow on the surface and lightly cover

Starting Indoors: Start indoors 8-16 weeks before the last frost. Provide 70-75ºF soil temperature. Transplant after last frost, 12” apart

Sowing Outdoors: Direct sow outdoors after the last frost, only in areas with long growing seasons

Growth Habit:Mounded

Light Needs: Full sun to part shade

Soil Needs:Average, well-drained

Approximate days to flower from seed: 90-100 days

Uses: Bedding plants, containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets

Care: Water seedlings regularly until established. Amend soil with compost before transplanting. Cut back stems as the blooms fade, this encourages more flower production.Fertilize with a liquid fertilizer every few weeks.
