Clarkia

Clarkia is a beauty and easy to grow. This wildflower is great for cut flowers and for pollinators.  It grows to 3 feet tall with hollyhock-type spires of double blooms on graceful stems. Colors range in the white and red spectrums.

Germination:14-21 days

Germination Temperature:Optimum soil temperatures 65-75ºF

Seed Planting Depth: Sow on surface and press into soil, seeds need light to germinate

Starting Indoors: Direct seeding is recommended

Sowing Outdoors: Direct sow when soil temperatures reach 65ºF, around the last frost date. Sow seeds lightly, thin to 6” apart.

Spacing:6-8” apart

Light Needs: Full sun, light shade (hot areas)

Soil Needs:Average, well-drained
