Also known as dyer's chamomile, this hardy perennial grows to 3 feet tall with abundant dark yellow daisy-like flowers above lacy foliage. It produces a yellow, buff, or orange dye depending upon the mordant used. Blooms for an extend period, making a nice cut flower and is a welcome addition to the perennial bed.   50 seeds

Germination: 14-21 days, 

Seed Planting Depth: on surface, lightly press in

Starting Indoors/Outdoors:  Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Provide 65-70 degree soil temperatures. Transplant 18-24" apart. Sow outdoors in spring when soil warms or early fall. 

Light Needs:  Full sun 

Soil Needs:  Average, loamy to heavy, moist soil

Uses:  Medicinal, dyeing, ornamental, attracts beneificals
